*Free Porn*Beastiality*Lolita*

Ok, so now that i've got you attention, i have a question. I own Heat obviously on DVD however have a problem with it! When I put it in my RCA Dvd Player, it just keeps spinning and eventually a screen comes up that says "Disc Incompatible"! HOWEVER, if i try it about 20 times, it eventually works! Is there a problem with the DVD? PLEASE RESPOND WITH ANYTHING!!
P.S
There isn't any porn on the internet is there?

What is this "porn" that you speak of?

Sorry, can't help you with your problem. The Rock isn't a technical expert, so all he can offer up is that you make sure the disc doesn't have any dirt or scratches. Other than that...dunno. The Rock would speculate about it being your player, but he'll reserve comment and let others (with better expertise) give you suggestions as The Great One's wonderings would be pure conjecture.

Rock makes a good point about checking the disc for dirt or scratches.

I'm assuming that your other DVDs play fine.

You might want to try your Heat DVD in other players to see if it does the same thing there. If so, then you probably have a bad disc and need to get it exchanged.

You also might want to check the reviews of your DVD player model over at www.audioreview.com as there may be reports of similar problems with your particular player.

Good luck.

What region is the disc coded for? Does it match the code of the player? I think that message or something similar is what you get when trying to play discs from the wrong region.

Maybe your player is dirty, try and get a cleaner for it, then maybe it'll work

Ok...well the DVD player is NEW, and the DVD works on our Toshiba DVD player. BUT, I still don't understand why out of all the movies i have, this one doesn't work unless you try it about 20 times. I mean, once it get's going it's totally fine! It's almost as though, the DVD player can't find where to start on the disc! Oh, the DVD HEAT is an AWSOME movie regardless. The disc itself is very clean, no scratches! It was only 19.99 Canadian Funds or..2 cents American...and well...if your using the ol' English Pounds, well...it would be so cheap they'd probly pay you..HOWEVER, what i'm trying to say is: HOW CAN I FIX THIS. Why isn't there some kind of warning on it saying: "May not play properly in these following players!" DAMMIT, I'm takin' the hole company to court...(no.)

JDean55,

From your description it sounds like it's either a bad disc or an incompatibility with your player.

If you can try it on another DVD player (ideally, on two: 1 same model as yours 2 different model than yours) this would be a good way to see whether it's the disc (doesn't play or has trouble playing on the other players) or your player (plays fine on the other player).

As for player incompatibilities, it's going to be an unfortunate side affect of the medium and the timing. The format's only been on the market since '97 and DVDs are a lot more complicated than VHS tapes ever were. So while the format gets nailed down and the manufacturers learn how to make the players, we're going to be seeing little problems pop up now and then. Even the Sony 7700 (a $1000 player) has had problems. Imagine how upset they must be!

That's one of the benefits of sites like DVDFile and this forum. It serves as a good gathering place for this type of information and on potential fixes for it.

Hope that helps some and good luck.

JDean55, this problem is frequent with RCA dvd players, and i would reccomend exchanging it asap. I used to have an RCA, but took it back because it seemed to have too many glitches, and some friends of mine also had similar problems with theirs. I dont think there is anything you can do, besides calling RCA.
