I might buy Lizzie McGuire..but I'm not quite sure yet (it's currently looking unlikely). But I would like the get the TV movie version of Carrie (mostly for Emilie de Ravin ).

I'll probably have to online order the latter eventually...pretty lousy week overall.

although I've always heard good things about Paper Moon, so I'll pick that up if I can find it.

I'd like to see Amen, but I couldn't get to rent that around here, and I don't think I want to buy it.
And I'm seeing He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not later this month in the theater.
Nothing else.

THE HOLY MOUNTAIN IS COMING OUT?! WHY WASN'T I TOLD THIS?! ...why did it have to be Kino?!

(Note: Just looked on Netflix, this seems to be the 1926 movie directed by Arnold Fanck, NOT the Alejandro Jodorowsky movie. Damn!)

So that makes it:

House of 1000 Corpses

For Rent:
Onmyoji (PS: Not an anime, it's a live action Japanese horror movie.)
P.S.: Your Cat is Dead (How can I pass up 'A Movie by Steve Guttenberg'? I dare you answer that question!)

I'm going to hold off on the only interesting release this week for me -- Futurama Volume 2. The rest of the year's gonna be hitting me pretty hard and I still haven't finished watching volume 1 (and I still have to finish Rocky/Bullwinkle Season 1 and South Park Season 2). That and Family Guy and Simpsons 3 all come out soon. I'll probably wait till Futurama Volume 3 comes out and there's some sort of promotion with the two.

How could everyone pass this up?

Stranger and more wonderfully awful than Can't Stop The Music? Is that possible?

No one seemed to have noticed that Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band is being belatedly released by Universal. It's an adaptation of the Beatles famous album. Starring the Bee Gees, Peter Frampton, Donald Pleasance, Aerosmith, Steve Martin and many others. Narrated by George Burns. Worst career move since Hitler killed all those Jews.

Did anybody on here see the TV-movie of Carrie?

Was there really anything about it that improved upon the still-good original movie?

Do you really think that there will be a Simpsons Season 3 + Futurama Season 2 deal? I'm thinking on the 26th we will see a "Buy 2 Simpsons seasons for $X or buy ALL THREE Simpsons seasons for $X" deal. Even with the shows so closely related, I don't think they will have a deal with both of them together. Plus, by that time, the release-week price will be gone, and it will probably be an extra $5
