New Tomb Raider 2 and revised T3 cover art

This is the art for TOMB RADIER: CRADLE OF LIFE:

THis is the revised art for T3:

The T3 (notice the WB amaray case) art looks a bit generic, but I'm happy with TR. It's always best when they use the one sheet art. I'd didnt hate either of these movies, in fact I quite enjoyed them. More so T3 than TR, but I'll most likely pick them both up.

i like t3's cover. i also like about tr that lara croft is not over the title like on the original poster. i knew it wasnt goin to be good when angelina jolie's body was over the title. they were clearly not tryin to sell a good movie. it was also hard to read what actual title was.

I'll pick 'em both up. I'll be getting T3 as a blind purchase but from what I've heard, it's not horrible and I like good brain-off action flicks.
As for Tomb Raider. I'm too big-a-fan of the franchise to not get it.
(And Angelina.... )

I had every intention of seeing T3, but just never got around to it. These will both be blind buys for me, but definitely on my list.

The Tomb Raider art actually looks pretty good. I don't dislike the T3 art, but I think it could have been better.

I'll get around to buying Cradle of Life eventually, I liked it, it was faaaar from perfect but I thought it was a fun ride. And as it was already stated, Angelina Jolie =

As for the T3 art, :flush: I liked the other art better. I'll still pick it up though as I loved the hell out of it.

I didn't see TR in the theater, but will be buying it when it comes out on DVD. I'm a TR game fan and own the first TR movie. I look forward to getting this one.

My thoughts exactly. I didn't get a chance to see T3 in theatres, but how can you go wrong with the delectable Kristianna Loken.

I would say the same for Tomb Raider and Jolie, but I didn't really like the first one, so I think I'll pass on that one.

Since I am a franchise movie collector, I will definitely be getting T3 and Tomb Raider 2. It's a must for my collection.

I'm not big on either cover art. I do like the way the Parmount decided to use the One-Sheet for the LCTR:TCOL DVD (even though I never liked the one sheet). I liked "T3" but hated "Tomb Raider 2". I will pick up 'T3' on the third or fourth edition.

Me likey the T3 cover very much.

I didn't like the poster for T3 that much so I'm glad they nixed it off the dvd cover. I like things simple.

As for TR, I'll still get it but I'm sure I won't like it.

I agree on both accounts. I would of like them to stay with the old cover art they had going for it.

But i am glad they didn't change the cover art for Tomb Raider 2. (one thing i like about Paramount . . .they never mess with their cover art from movie posters)

I think the new T3 art is fantastic! I like it better than the previous art. And Tomb Raider 2 looks pretty good too. Always good to see a studio sticking to the poster art.

I'm waiting for used copies of both titles, which I am SURE, there are going to be alot of, notwithstanding, the deeeeep discounting...a la "Gangs of New York"....that will probably, be going on, when these titles are released.

Angelina was looking a little "stocky", in the clips that I saw, the cover here, isn't what I saw in the clips.

Let's face it, the T3 franchise is getting a little tired, what with all of the different versions of the first two DVD's; that's usually a bad sign, that even THEY, are running out of gas. I can't get excited about AHRNOLLD, anymore.

It's over, when The Terminator, runs for public office; he crossed the line, between film reality and Reality, and there is NO going back. He is going to see his film popularity affected, unless he decides to set himself on fire, or something. He's soured it for me !

I have to cut back somewhere, and HERE, is where I draw the line. There are already, and there are going to be, much more, rewarding DVDs, to purchase "out there".

I agree with SilentBob regarding using the original poster art for the DVD cover, the one they're planning to release leaves a little to be desired IMO. I'm hoping somebody will make one using the poster art as the cover and submit it to dvdcoverart.com.

Ew, that T3 border just ruins it, why couldn't they just leave it all black? As for TR, good cover, but it looks a lot like the first movie. As for the qualitiy of the movies, T3 was good and in my opinion TR sucked. I really liked the first TR, but COL made me almost fall asleep in the theatre. I'll be getting T3 to add to My Terminator Special Edition and T2 Ultimate Edition.

I wish I were getting the TR disc... it looks nice. I just can't get over how horrible the movie was. I am on the fence about T3, I did not want to go see it. I hold T2 in high regard, and I don't want to see the series ruined.

That is how I'll get my TR, most defintely. Hell, I'd do that for the box art alone. But T3, I'll probably buy new.

Well, you know that they digitally fix, or even body double for ad art in movies all the time anyway. Big stars usually don't have the time for the photo shoot, even if they are known as hot bodies. They also usually have image approval, so they get to pick their body doubles too.

Well, they kept the most important selling point, I suppose. Too bad though, I DID like the poster art cover.

I thought the first cover was okay, but I think the new one is a slight improvement. Not that it really matters, I don't think I'll be buying this blind, but I may give it a rent.

I like the new cover of Tomb Raider actually... one of my three wishes if I ever found a Genie would be "no more photo DVD covers", but if you're gonna have her mug on it, that one ain't too bad.

Chances I'll ever see the movie are still slim to none though
