Apparently, according to Amazon.com, it came out on August 5. That slipped by me, but I stumbled upon a copy at my local Walmart for $8.64. I can't complain that it doesn't have many features (only a trailer), but it has Ione Skye naked (at the age of 17 when it was filmed). Gets my second place vote just for that. Well that and that it's a fairly intellectual British teen comedy.

Big spider! This thread needs an NSFA (not safe for arachnaphobics) warning. I could have used it! That was quite a shocker! Damn spiders.

On topic now:

Tough choice between the two (and had I purchased Casablanca it may have had a shot...I'll go with the Simpsons since LOTR will get another vote in November...though it will probably be 2nd to Dr. Jones

Usually I don't have to think twice about my votes, but I'm stuck this month.

I'll (grudgingly) go with:

1. Futurama V2
2. LOTR: TTT

I didn't see many DVDs this month. I've not seen "The Lord of the Rings:The Two Towers", "The Simpsons:The Complete Thrid Season" or much of anything besides The Lizzie McGuire Movie and Cradle 2 The Grave. But I'll give my first place vote to LOTR:TTT and my second place vote to Simpons:TCTS.

Cool - I have a worn VHS copy of this from way back when. On of my favourite Jonathan Pryce performances
