Did Super Mario Bros ever come out? - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I know it was supposed to come out at the beginning of June, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Amazon.com doesn't list it and, quite frankly, I don't know any other place online that I can check to see if it ever came out.

And please don't waste anyone's time by posting about how much this movie sucks. We already know that.

Super Mario Brothers dvd...

It's in it's 1.85:1 ratio too and you can't beat that price either.

I went to the theater and seen this flick when it first came out. I enjoyed it. I need to pick up the dvd myself.

I looked at amazon and didn't find it. Maybe I should have looked a little harder.

And, you're right Mr McMinn, you can't beat that price with a stick. I'll be ordering it from there in about 30 seconds or so.

I never saw this in the theater, but when I was in 7th grade and we would have a rainy day we'd always watch this. I haven't seen this in at least 8 or 9 years or so, so I'm kind of looking forward to watching it.

Christ, the Super Mario Bros. movie SUCKED. It made the Mortal Kombat movie look like the best movie ever. I'd rather watch a 2 hour long movie of someone playing Super Mario Bros. 3.
Now THAT'S a SMB movie.

And I am contributing something... I mean, I suggested that 2 hours of someone playing Super Mario Bros. 3 for two hours would make a good Mario Bros. movie. And christ, the Super Mario Bros. movie does suck; I mean, there's no Goombas! How can you have a Super Mario Bros. movie without Goombas? And I sure as hell don't remember Koopa looking like Dennis Hopper with massive birth defects... And what was with that creepy city? Where were the rolling green plains? It was a Super Marios Bros. movie made by people who have absolutely NO clue what the hell Super Mario Bros. is, besides the fact that it has two Italian plumbers as main characters, a princess, a reptilian boss, and a little dinosaur you ride around on (did anyone even SIT on Yoshi in the movie?). Or it was made by potheads.

Still, while i dont really hate the Supermario Bros. movie, i really disliked it and it bored me, but hey if you like it, no problem with that.

I bought it blind for under $10.. and it's a wonderfully bad movie. I wasn't expecting high art going in, and I was entertained. Bob Hoskins is always a good show. Too bad they only stopped with the one.

Yeah I got this the first day it came out. The blue shirt in Best Buy had to help me find it though, because it wasn't in any of their designated sections. We ended up finding it in the bargain bin $7.99 or less.

Overall a decent transfer, and its nice to see it in its OAR. Can't beat it for that price, either.

I used to own this just for collecting reasons, but it got sold in the Great MooglePorn DVD Saletm a while back...

And Orf, the first Mortal Kombat was a really fun movie :p

I'm gonna have to get this movie on DVD some time soon. When I was like 6 I loved this movie. I think I watch it atleast once a day for about a year. I might of broke the tape I had of it because I watched it so many times. I saw this movie a couple of months ago on TV and thought it was really bad but it's a fun movie (as is Mortal Kombat). And I agree with what lopperp said about Orf, I mean can he not read?

My opinion on the movie is like most people, it sucked but was cheesy bad funny. I also gotta hit this DVD up for $4 at Wal Mart...

I didn't notice the starter of the thread requested that... so maybe Orf was in the wrong. Still, as Orf himself pointed out, his detractors were far more rude than he.
