Haven't seen the movie, but that is a pretty good coverart.

No! It's not! It's a Five Star edition of fucking Broken Arrow! Argg!

It doesn't even have one Special Feature for God's sake!

...but, it has "Interactive Menus"! And the "Original Theatrical Trailer"!

And THX Mastering - oh, no, wait, that's just a left over from whichever cover this was ammended from.

Funny though.

Haha, a 5-Star Collection of "Broken Arrow"? I've not seen the movie but I've heard it's really bad and would never get a 5SC.

No one is forcing you to use it. IMO alternate cover art is all about personalization. The site you were refering to IMHO goes overboard in demanding absolute perfection. I think they have lost site of the "hobby" aspect of alternate cover art. I'm guessing that a supporter of that site will offer a differing opinion & perhaps say something about me.

Well my main point was that there is not one special feature on it, so who would try to make it a 5star? There's Abyss 5star art on that site, and that's actuall cool, but Broken Arrow?

Hey, some people grade on a five star scale, and some people grade on a 100 star scale. As in: Broken Arrow rates 5/100 stars... sounds about right!

I made up a 5 star version of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" because it was fun & because I just wanted to.

Hey, personally I would pay $20 for a 5-star version of "Broken Arrow."

As long as it was the 1952 Jimmy Stewart/Jeff Chandler/Debra Paget version.

Otherwise, no.

I've just started to make my own covers, and no matter how happy I am with any given title, I won't submit them to a site. I like to personalize them in ways I doubt anyone but me would be interested in**...but isn't that exactly the point of personalization?

**Such as Minority Report having nothing on the cover but the Pre-Crime logo and the title. I tend to like covers having as little information as possible. I hate all that "Two Thumbs Up" crap, or "Super Deluxe-O Edition" That's what the back cover is for.

I think a lot of people would like that cover... I love covers that are simple like that, even just a logo like Criterion's "The Rock" set...

Why bother with Broken Arrow 5 Star Box? It truly boggles the mind why someone spent time on this.

I do like TDTESS 5 Star Box!

I thought the big portrait of Gort was what made the cover interesting. It was a just for fun effort.

This author probably used the same rationale as me, it was just for fun & because he wanted to. Jeez take it easy on the poor guy!

I've had the same experience. DVDCoverArt.com have a weird judging system -- reject all submissions except from their friends.
