I'm tiring of the star ratings, and the A B C D F grades are just not informative enough for me, so I propose a new film rating method that will let people get the clearest picture of exactly how good any given movie is: show the percentage of how much better it is than "Star Wars". Here are some examples:

Goodfellas: 2000% better than "Star Wars"
Dangerous Liaisons: 800% better than "Star Wars"
I Shot Andy Warhol: 980% better than "Star Wars"
Being John Malkovich: 1000% beter than "Star Wars"
The Exorcist: 600% better than "Star Wars"
Taxi Driver: 1100% better than "Star Wars"
Repulsion: 2150% better than "Star Wars"
Monty Python's The Meaning of Life: 650% better than "Star Wars"
Requiem for a Dream: 1900% better than "Star Wars"
Citizen Kane: 850% better than "Star Wars"
Marci X: 5% better than "Star Wars"

Any others people would like to add?

So, since you didn't list Empire Strikes back am I right to believe that you actually like it? If so, what is it about the originals that you hate so much and why is it that you find empire to be above your mockery.

Anything besides Enough, From Justin To Kelly, Battlefield Earth, Grease 2, The One, The Medallion, Bulletproof Monk, Jeepers Creepers 2, Kangaroo Jack, Cradle 2 the Grave, Legally Blonde 2, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Pluto Nash, Gigli, Glitter, Kazaam, Cool as Ice, Steel, and Super Mario Bros. (The Movie) is better than Episode 1.

And yes that means Plan 9 and Troll 2 are better than Ep 1. To me atleast..

Empire remains best of the series to me..

I couldn't do it.
For me Star Wars trancends any sort of rating system and nothing compares to it.
I was ten when I saw it in the theaters so there will forever be a feeling attached to it that nothing else can compare to.

Hmmm... that could be a little clunky too. I mean, after you have been with the same woman for a length of time, it gets easier and easier to pass on sex with her.

How about how willing you would be to go to the sexual extreme for a movie? Like - I would have sex with Roseanne to see Goodfellas again (and on the opposite end of the spectrum) I would TURN DOWN sex with Eliza Dushku so I won't ever have to see Star Wars Episode 2 again.
