ONE FREE HOUR OF SHOPPING TONIGHT AT BOLT.COM!
I knew this belongs in Bargains, but this is the most-visited category, and it applies especially to DVDs. Also, I screwed up the post in Bargains and put "free shipping" instead of "free shopping"...see what a difference that one letter slip can make...
I can't believe that no one has posted this yet, but tonight at http://www.bolt.com/ there will be a magic hour (the hour when the most people make purchases) that every single thing purchased will be absolutely free (up to $100). Their selection of DVDs is weak (they only have around 10 movies), but hey its free. Here's the thing. People around the Net are arranging it so the hour from 10 PM to 11 PM EST will be the magic hour--the so called "Free O'Clock". Everyone is going to be going to the site to purchase stuff, so everything should be free. I myself am a little skeptical, but after reading the rules you'll realize there's no way they can get out of this. Even if the magic hour is wrong (which they could I suppose lie about), you can cancel your order right away. Sounds like a good way to get a few DVDs free. They also have music, clothes, sports equipment, and more. The site will likely be slow during the hour...and I'm sorry for such little notice, I just found out about it a little while ago. I recommend you setting up a wish list so that checking out will be quick when the time comes. Once again, the hour is 10:00 - 11:00 PM EST. This means 9:00-10:00 CST, 8:00-9:00 MST, 7:00-8:00 PST. Don't blame me if this doesn't work, I'm just letting you all know about this great, rare opportunity. |

Actually here are the rules straight from their web site.
_____________________________________________ On Thursday, May 25th, everything you buy at Bolt will be free during the hour that the most people place orders. So if there are say, three different people who order during a certain hour and no other hours that day have more orders, those three people don’t get charged for their stuff -- up to $100 per person. Remember, it’s the number of different people ordering, so if you place five separate orders, it only counts as one. What does that mean? It means you can help determine which hour is free by getting everyone you know to make purchases at the same time. _____________________________________________ ------------------ -Damian |
