Has anyone else found out what a great DVD Conan the Barbarian Collector's Edition is?

I know some people don't care for the original audio, but everything else is well worth the price of admission.

I do like Arnie, he's got a great sense of humour, but unfortunetly he keeps making terrible films. I'm always willing to give him another chance though.

I utterly despised Red Sonja, so any other 80s fantasy sorcery flicks with Arnie in it aren't really at the top of my list.

It sounds like a great DVD, but then again, Street Fighter was a great DVD.

If you have only seen Red Sonja - utter crap - then you must seen the masterpiece Conan The Barbarian. This is the best movie of its type.

At least rent it...

Conan The Destroyer is ok, but lacks the punch of the first.

Conan The Barbarian is a 10/10
Conan The Destroyer is a 5/10

While I definitely like both Conan films, I did enjoy Rip Torn chewing up the scenery in The Beastmaster

And if you're looking for a severe chuckle in the sword and sorcery dept., find "The Cave People" with the MST3K treatment. Unfortunately, it's only on VHS at the moment, but still worth a few bucks...
