Saving Private Ryan, Band of Bros. and Black Hawk Down copied Dr. Stranglove
I just bought the Special Edition DVD, and I love it. I have already watched it 5 times in 7 days. Im 19 yrs old, and a history buff, and I still think the comedy holds up extremly well, considering it is 39 yrs old. I and i am going to say this first. Dr. Stranglove started the whole "shaky cam" style when shooting war scenes, since copied in Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, and Black Hawk Down. Anyone else notice this. Your thoughts on the movie, becasue i would like to see what others have to say.

I'm going to take this opportunity for a shameless plug.
We discussed this film in Film Class -- and I think I'll go ahead and close this as many of the things you're mentioning were either brought up in Class or would be *very* appropriate there. And not many people realized that we discuss many cool films. Feel free to PM me if your intentions were otherwise. Dr. Strangelove discussion hosted by MrTony
