availability of criterion straw dogs?
Heard this title was going out of print in december, and it is listed as out of stock on several web sites- is there a cheap online or real-world store I can purchase it from? shudder at the idea of shelling out big bucks on eBay...

I have seen it at Best Buy, Borders and Barnes and Noble. None of those stores are articularly cheap (compared to online prices), but they are certainly cheaper and simpler than bidding on ebay. You may have to pay close to full retail (39.99), but sometimes Borders does offer 10-20% discounts. The official OOP date is 12/31/03, but I'm not sure if the online stores will be able to get many back in stock before then.

Well, dvdplanet lists at $25.96, but it says out of stock. Dunno if it will come back before it's OOP. And digitaleyes lists at $27.98 but says temp. sold out.
