Versus DVD Region Question
I want to buy the special edition of Versus, but I'm having trouble finding a Region 1 copy for the price I'm wanting. I've found several copies of the Region 0 DVD, and it seems to have the same extras, but I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any differences.

Yeah, the Region 0 is a bootleg. I learned this the hard way; trust me, I'm far happier with my Region 1 copy.

Think of it this way:
The Versus R1 disc features the ENTIRE special edition R2 release, and includes an extra commentary track, and the R2 release costs more than double the price of the R1 disc. It's worth the price. Plus the cast and crew commentary is worth the money by itself. |

And they all hate it for the ending. I'd say if you're a fan of the Evil Dead series, Dead Alive, slapstick gore, camera angles and tricks coming out of the pants, it's good enough to pick up blind. It drags a bit, sure, but if you like humor in your horror movie, it's worth it. |
