What is "Spider-Man: The Animated Chronicles - Season One?"
Saw the announcement for this today but I have no idea what it is. Is this for the 60's, 80's, or 90's series? Or is it a hodgepodge of all of them? Does anyobdy know?? Sounds pretty exciting, regardless!
Thanks! |

I tried so hard to get into this show, but between the stiff character animation and the voice over acting I only watched 4 episodes.
![]() I think casting directors forget that sometimes the whole "celebrity voice" thing can work against an animated show or movie. Just because they can act on film, doesn't mean and actor knows the fine art of voice acting. Doogie has the right vocal quality for Peter Parker/Spidey, but he was pretty flat otherwise.

I might pic k it up. I will admit the first few episodes drove me away form the series. But lately its been drawing me into it a lot. Th evoices are working better for me and the anmiation is also getting better (just like Beast Wars did over the years) Can't wait for season 2 . . . they are doing season 2 right? Don't know many MTV cartoon's that have lasted for one season to move onto a 2nd (UndeGrads and Clone High anyone)

I'm definitely picking this up; I really enjoyed it on MTV. Here is a link to the artwork for the set. http://dvdanswers.com/index.php?r=0&...2680&n=1&burl=

I'd rather have Aeon Flux or The Maxx, two shows I used to watch as a youngin, but this looks kind of cool... Still, I have never seen it, thus I will most likely pass for now. Still haven't gotten The Tick yet!!
