Is it true that this set is Out of print now?

If it is, was it recently enough that some stores still might have it kicking around, or am I out of luck, unless I want to go the eBay way?

It's out of print now, but if you look around you should be able to find in a store somewhere. I still occasionally see it, but you should buy it IMMEDIATELY if you find one. It's only going to get scarcer. It's one of the best dvd box sets ever released.

Yes it is out of print i forgot what date it went out of print. I bought my set the minute i heard this info. I know for sure amazon.com is out of stock so most likely u will have to look on ebay.

Definitely. I bought mine the day I heard it was going out of print, and it was the last one at BB. I noticed two of them at Circuit City a few weeks ago, though.

Which is a good sign (under the circumstances.) It means they stopped making more, but Disney hasn't recalled them from the stores. Time for a hard target search. Good luck to ya!

well, although it is history - this IS Disney, which means there will be another release (although obviously not in its current format).

found it!

The guy that sold it was pretty sure that Disney had done a recall on them, but this one slipped through the cracks when the store moved or something... who knows. Who cares?

Most of those bad boys are going for $80 - $120 US on Amazon.

Ok, now I don't feel so bad about spending (what I thought was) too much on these. I spent $80 bucks Canadian, which is quite a bit for two movies...

Of course, that's about the same I paid for the Brazil Criterion, which is only ONE movie, but both I tyhink are well worth the price.

Well, it's two movies plus a boatload of extras, starting with great stuff on the movie discs themselves, and continuing with the third disc, which is pretty jam-packed.

You have quite a treat in store.
