difference between 2 battlestar gallactica dvds?

saw there is a new version of the dvd of the film- seems to be the same extras (such as they are) as the first edition. Does the new reissue feature a better transfer? can anyone reccommend one over the other?

The last I heard is that the only changes made from the original to the new one were packaging and some additional promos for upcoming Galactica projects.

is the new one anamorphic...not sure the original one I have is...and I prefer the original artwork, so if there is ZERO difference, I'll pass...

Update - I just checked out the listings at Amazon and there ARE some picture and sound differences. Amazon has been known to be incorrect, but rarely.

The newer version is an anamorphic transfer with Dolby 1.0 sound.

The original version is a non-anamorphic letterbox transfer with both English and French Dolby 1.0.
