Any word about a Reno 911 DVD?

I was hoping Reno 911 1st season would be out on DVD sometime in 2004. What are the chances? Does Comedy Central release their series that quickly out on DVD?

I only have a few TV series on DVD...Simpsons, Futurama, Planet of the Apes and Twin Peaks (Iv'e been flirting with the '24' series but not sure how much I would rewatch them). Reno 911 is just about the only thing on right now that i feel like I NEED to have.

I certainly hope so as well. This show is very re-watchable and funny as hell.

I haven't heard anything, but Comedy Central does seem to aggressively be putting shows out on DVD these days, what with Upright Citizen's Brigade, Strangers with Candy, Insomniac, and The Man Show. Considering Reno 911 is doing pretty well for them in the ratings, I'd be real surprised if we didn't see or get an announcement about the first season on DVD sometime in 2004.

Is there any word on more Insomniac? I love Comedy Central's original programming and hope every show gets a DVD run.

I've been wondering if anyone else here liked this show. I guess they do.

I also want this show on DVD ASAP. I watched the first episode and was hooked.

The Comedy Central website lists the DVD release of the 1st Season of Reno 911 to be 6/22/2004, just two weeks away! Hopefully this release date will stick.

It mentions nothing about being uncensored, though.

Uncensored...a little misleading...

So I picked this up yesterday, and I'm a little dissapointed about the whole "Uncensored" thing, but this is an otherwise must have DVD. This show is just so astoundingly funny, and easily rewatchable.

The commercials on CC were very misleading though, as it's ONLY the Special Features that are Uncensored, and not the actual episodes. Even the curse words are bleeped out, although the racial slurs that appeared uncensored during the first airings on CC remain uncensored on the DVD.

animatedbat...Disapointed that the line up of women in the first episode are still wearing their "black bars" :p

I also picked this up yesterday, and I too was disapointed that the episodes are not uncensored, however it doesn't make that much of a difference to me. I still love the set.

For some reason the episodes don't play in order on the second disk, though. It'll go from the first episode where the Homeland Security guys come in to train the crew, then it goes to the final episode of the season (the Halloween one, my favorite episode of the series so far), then back to the second episode with the Homeland Security guys.

On a side note, I'm throughly enjoying the second season so far. I was worried that they mave have blown their wad during the first season (a la Chappelle's Show), but so far they haven't let me down.
