Any particular reason why you're interested in the feedback?

My choice:
- The Simpsons - The Complete Second Season (not listed in the poll)

The only others I have from your collection are: Ocean's Eleven, Spider-Man, South Park: B,L,U.
So of the ones in the poll, I'd choose Ocean's Eleven.

The only ones on that list that are decent are Pirates of the Caribbean, Speed, T2, and Jurassic Park.

Not really, I guess I wanted to see what movies people like from my collection. Just for fun...

I just put the movies not music/tv/documentary, but yeah The Simpsons definitely has the most rewatchability value. It's hard to beat

Rate someone else's DVD collection

I know... but since I don't have a lot of dvds and could make a poll, I thought it would be fun. Also most of them are blockbuster movies, so it's fun to see the battle... It's not simply about my collection but rather a battle between movies...

I need to change one of my answers. I thought "The Bodyguard" was "My Bodyguard".

Dvdlover, are you just looking to start another battle about your Whitney discs?

This thread is just about my movies so I had to include them. I just thought it was funny that the 1 vote was actually a mistake. Btw, there are other stars then Whitney in those movies like K.Costner, D.Washington, A.Bassett. Anyways, to me POTC, Mummy, JP and Speed are my favs. Followed by TB and RH2.

Ummm, no.

She was the Britney Spears of her time with a better voice, and less attractive.
The only thing she's ever done that I enjoyed was The Star Spangled Banner at the '91 Super Bowl.
Most the crap that she's pumped out is just mindless pop garbage with no soul, IMHO, of course...

First, this is not the right thread for this.

Second, like Britney Spears? I don't see Britney Spears being praised by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Barbra Streisand and all the greats like Whitney was & is. Also, I don't see Britney Spears winning awards for her work (unless it's based on popularity and votes by the public). So PLEASE. Also like I've said before, Whitney's "soul" can be seen in her live performances, not the studio versions that were produced for radio. Have you seen Whitney perform Greatest Love of All live? I doubt it. You wouldn't even recognize the song, she turns it into a gospel soul number that goes over 10 minutes. That goes for any of her songs. As for Whitney being less attractive then Britney, that's a matter of taste. Whitney was a model and is very attractive. Yeah, maybe she doesn't flaunt her sexuality like Britney and yeah she doesn't have blond hair, but she's a very beautiful woman. Britney's look can be seen in about a zillion blonde girls, it's a typical look.

"Of course" INDEED.

That just goes to show you that she screws up her own songs as well.

No that just means that she's an incredible live performer who never interprets a song twice the same way.

My pick would be Whitney Houston' stunning "Fine/If I Told You That" (dvd single), which was curiously absent from your list.

I can vote on this under the conditions that this thread is really "What movie of mine do you hate the least?"; with the poll now being that, I have to vote Terminator 2, since Arnie is one of those actors who sucks, but instead of being annoyed by his acting you get a sense of morbid enjoyment from it.... and because the rest of the movies could just be at the level of "scum of the earth".
By the way, I'm agreeing with most people here. This is just another thread to spout crazy Whitney Houston propaganda.

You know, the respect you all have for the Moderators is really overwhelming.

I asked all of you to keep the discussion on track. Nicely, even. Some of you 'got it' but apparently most of you would rather piss in dvdlover's Cheerios than ignore a thread you don't like.

There. Are you happy now? I sure as hell hope so.
