Riddle me this Batman... I had announced this release on this board months ago based on info from DVDDrive-In. Shortly thereafter, Deep Discount had it up for pre-order. Recently, Deep Discount canceled my order with no explanation. So is it coming, or isn't it???

ABBY DVD release.....

Hey Lar,

The Abby DVD was released, but the version you announced from Eclectic/Sinema Diablo has been officially canceled (check their site, it's gone!). The version I bought is from Cinefear and is the Special Edition version with extras. The reason Eclectic dropped the flick is because they were only providing a sell- through budget dvd that used the Cinefear print of the film, no extras. A classic 'beaten to the punch' scenerio. You can as far as I know still get the Cinefear DVD at that web address, I have also seen it for sale in Tower and a couple other video retailers. Good luck, enjoy Abby if you get it!

Giallo, I've seen a few scathing reviews of the poor transfer of Abby...One said it was the worst looking DVD he had ever reviewed. How do you feel about it?

Fantastic, thanks for the update. I've been craving this movie for years and couldn't bear to pay the $20+ for the bad VHS bootleg on eBay. It is an important piece in my Exorcist/Exorcist clone collection.
