Yay! But...full frame? IMDB sez 1.85:1 (yes, I know it's just fan unput and fans can be wrong). What's the right ratio?

You know a co-worker of mine had this on VHS and I borrowed it a couple weeks ago to watch seeming as how I thought the movie was so great when it came out that I sat through two showings! But now 10 + years later it didn't really do anything for me , and the rock soundtrack was just plain lame~

Hang Dean F up by his toenails!!! You've lost "The Touch"! Time to go back in the closet and pick up some of them toys. Only then can you be one with the Matrix again.

The Transformers movie was probably the sweetest movie I had ever seen when I was young. I rented it every time I went to the movie store. But then I moved away from Nebraska and my childhood and havn't viewed it sense. In light of the movies I now enjoy, (Taxi Driver, Apocolypse Now and Alien), I don't know how I would react to seeing it again, but I am leaning towards Dean's opinion, some childhhod memories are best left as just that: memories. I would rather charish the memory of the movie, thinking it is the best, then re-view it only to find I no longer enjoy it.

Transformers WILL NOT BE FULL FRAMED!!! This has been stated OVER AND OVER by Kid Rhino. In Fact they have said that it will have an anamorphic transfer.

It is NOT the shortened version. Kid Rhino has announced that they understand the audience that this film will be marketed towards, so they are not concerned with autobots dying or anything like that.

As for the release date... its been there for quite a while.
