Reboot, trouble counting?

in most countries using decimal doesn't 1 and 2 come before 3?

yes, i believe that you are right... 1, 2, umm, 3! aha, yes they do!
i am wondering what ADV is doing (or thinking for that matter), releasing season 3 with no word on if 1 and 2 are coming and releasing 4 25 minute episodes per disc. thats 4 discs for season 3. i was very excited when i heard that ReBoot was coming to dvd but if they are going to just transfer the VHS tapes over to dvd like they do with most anime and release only a few episodes per disc with season 1 and 2 as well, ADV can forget me buying them.
4 episodes per VHS tape is fine because season 3 was divided into four 4 episode stories, but with the storage space on dvd anything less than half a season per disc is inexcusable.

since the source is digital you would hope for a pristine transfer

cant argue with that logic bathtub.
I'll wait on buying season 3 and see what they are going to do with 1 and 2. if they come out with season 1 and 2 on just a few discs, i'll then pick up the 4 discs for season 3 as well. shelf space is a consideration in buying some of my discs, that is why i wont get any of the star trek series there are 23 episodes (maybe 24 if i didn't count right) in the first 2 seasons and 16 in the 3rd. if ADV continues the 4 episode per disc trend it will take 10 discs at about $15-$20 a pop to get the whole series out. the first 2 seasons could easily fit on 4 DVD-9's, maybe even 2 DVD-9's if they try hard and really squeeze the information on there. Come on ADV, don't disapoint a die hard ReBoot fan who has been waiting for years for this series to be released.

We only have rights to season 3. I don't know who has rights to seasons 1 &
2.
