Hows The Hunted dvd?

Ok, I made a quick pawn shop stop on the way home and saw this movie up for grabs but I didnt have any cash. It was $8 and mint so I thought about picking it up. I may go for it tomorrow after I read some reviews. From what Ive read, the movie is a mixed bag. But my bud says its a damn good movie with some great scenery and knife fights. What does everyone here think of this movie?

I own it and enjoy it, but it's nothing great...the story has been done before. I know that probably doesn't help alot.

It is not Friedkin's best work but it is enjoyable for the sheer non-stop action from start to finish.

I really enjyoed this movie....Bencio is pretty bad-ass for not saying much throughout the film....for $8, i'd buy it

In my opinion, this is just a so-so action, already been seen before flick. It was OK to watch once. Could care less about watching it again, let alone own it. It would rot on my shelf.

Assuming you mean the Benicio Del Toro/Tommy Lee Jones movie (and not the Christopher Lambert/John Lone movie that was brought up in another topic recently), it's a decent quick-paced action flick. It's best described as First Blood and The Fugitive mashed together.

Probably some of the best and most authentic knife-fighting shown on film. The bonus featurettes discuss some of the fighting styles of what they used. For $8, I'd recommend buying it.
