I'm thinking of a movie with a scene where on a dark stormy night a horse and buggy carrage is hi-jacked by a time-traveler who opens fire on them with 2 Uzis.

Time Cop with the Oscar worthy Jean Claude Van Damme.

A good opening for a movie.

EDIT: Sorry, it's Timecop....all one word.
