Sounds pretty good. Still, I'll wait for the inevitable boxset. I hope for revolutions though they include a bonus documentary explaining why the hell in the slo-mo Smith punch in the rain it looked like fucking clay-mation.

I think it sounds good too and a good follow up to the two disc Reloaded set, but likewise I might wait for the (announcement of a) boxset.

well i be picking this one up on the day it comes out

i just can't wait for a Rumoured Box set, i'd rather get the 2 disc DVD now so i can have the movie, then if a Box set is released i'll buy that anyways

I know it may sound preachy, but Life is too short to wait for a box set that could be a year away, I liked the movie and i'll pick up this release

I'll be getting it too. All these releases have been pretty weak but that surely has to do with some sort of planned box set. Oh well. I'm willing to double dip these titles.

and who knows, it could change, i mean didin't Reloaded's cover change after the DVD was announced?

Sounds like a pretty good set. But I think I'll wait for a box-set, even though I already own the first one.

Nice cover-art too.

Those are the theatrical posters combined, but I can still foresee a bunch of cover art crying coming...

It's just a cover

I'm hoping for the boxset they use those teaser posters from Reloaded. One for each one. Probably Morpheus for the first, Neo for the second, and Trinity for the 3rd. That would be hot shit.

Yea, I dont think that is very good ove a cover. I didn't like Reloaded's wither though.

Come to think of it I didn't like either sequel that much either. Especially Revolutions.

That cover really licks balls. I wasnt a huge fan of the sequels once you see Revolutions you realize how crappy they truly are. I'll skip this set.

Well IMO Reloaded lived up to my expectations, it did everything the mioddle of a trilogy should do

-continue the story from the first film
-Indroduce new story elements
-introduce new characters
-end on a cliffhanger

Where the trilogy failed was in Revolutions, it wasn't a satisfying ending and left far too many questions unanswered, it seemed to settle all conflicts with one big battle as oppsed to what it should have done, which was answer the questions from the first 2 films through story

The Wachoski Bros. should have looked at Return of the jedi, Back the the future Part III or Return of the King to see how to effectively wrap-up a trilogy

Which is why i believe there will be another film, adding another chapter that answers questions and shows more of the aftermath would give the series as a whole a more complete feeling

This is exactly how I feel about it.

I've never complained about cover art before, and don't understand people's constant criticisms of them, but DAMN - that is one f-ugly cover!

Revolutions SO disappointed me, that I will easily wait till the boxset comes out... IF it is a good DVD release.

Revolutions was SO bad, it made me glad that I didn't buy the underwhelming DVD release of Reloaded.

I can wait.

The Revolutions covers looks too "busy" and it could still be just a concept design now (someone just photoshopped the four theatrical posters together.) I would think they would've gotten some custom art or photograph...

I still loved the smokey look of the first cover -- the poster on the walls of millions. (I don't have a poster though)

I didnt like how Reloaded followed up on the first one. I then saw it on DVD again and changed my minds as it redeemed itself through the fight scenes and such.

That being said, I hated Revolutions. It sucked. Nothing about it impressed me so much to sit through it again. Story looked like they just made shit up and filmed it. Hell, i somehow managed to fall asleep for a half hour in a theatre full of people eating up every second of the movie. Obviously, i wont be getting this one when it comes out.

That and the cover looks like ass.

What they should do is make 4 seperate covers (the cover posted above split in 4)

That way we could decide which cover we want (similar to what Attack of the clones did for its soundtrack)

I was so dissapointed in Revolutions that I don't even see the point of keeping Reloaded anymore. I think I may just trade it in at Blockbuster to get the next new release that interests me for 12.99

I won't even touch this with a 10 foot stick. The Matrix should have been one movie and not a trilogy. The two sequels completely ruined everything.

I'm all for using theatrical posters for cover art, but this is really shabby looking. I think they need to use the international poster for the cover art with one modification - slide Neo & Trinity to the right and insert Morpheus (from the Revolutions Morpheus & Trinity poster) on the left. That would be sweet.

The cover art sucks i think.

I would love to see them just use the same cover from the game with there "Everything that has a beginning has an end" quote in the matrix coding itself.

They should be simple that way and not the crappy 4 pics on the one cover. Even have the raining code with the movie name and quote would work for me. Oh well i will probably buy it anyways. I don't think i would have the will power to hold off for the box set. (ifg they gove them DTS i'll be there)

The cover art is horrid. The features sounds good. I'll buy this to round out my collection of Matrix movies, even though this was a hudge let down!

The cover looks like a patch-work quilt my grandma could make. It's terrible. Not sure I'll buy this one since I might be getting the eventual box set somewhere down the line.

I agree with mtcarmel00, patchwork. It is like they could not decide on what they should put on the cover so they slapped em all on.

I'll be picking this up. I didn't think this was the huge let-down that a lot of people seemed to, i enjoyed the movie despite the inconclusive ending. The cover art is awful though. They should have stuck with one of the theatrical posters, or release them with 4 different covers (or 6 if you count the 2 international posters) rather than cramming the whole lot into one cover.

I'm one of the 5 people who actually liked Revolutions. It's not great, but it works for me. I think I'm one of the 5 who dont care either way on the cover art, also. If the trasfer and sound rival Reloaded I'll be happy.

I thought Revolutions was AWESOME. I don't get why people didn't like it Anyways, the DVD sounds great and looks like it has more features than Reloaded. But, just as the Reloaded disc the DVD cover sucks, but the Revolutions cover is much better than Reloaded. Reloaded had more of a Press Release DVD cover for it, which obviously, I don't like. But Revolutions at least had the original posters on it. But I would like both films to have a different cover if they plan to release an ultimate DVD for all of the films. Anyways, gonna be a rental for now

I think I'm the only person in the world who loved the sequels just as much as the original. So needless to say I will be adding this one to my collection and I can't wait to be able to see all three back to back. I'll get the box set too, of course, but in the meantime the Revolutions solo disc will get enough play to justify paying twice.

I've always thought those posters are really awesome, but don't like them all slapped on there. I hope the cover art changes. How about Neo and Smith going at it on the street with the Matrix code in the background and EVERYTHING THAT HAS A BEGINNING HAS AN END at the top?

I don't get the whole hatred of Revolutions, personally. It was really no worse than Reloaded. Reloaded was totally brainless in my opinion. It was like a Michael Bay movie but with even worse acting (as hard as that is to believe). At least Revolutions was a pretty solid film, up until the very ending. I'll admit to the ending sucking real hard, and some of the special effects were laughable. I want to say it was better than Reloaded, but the way both of the sequels didn't match up at all made them both look pretty bad. Obviously the original was clearly the best of the series, but I think most people hate Revolutions just because it didn't really sync up with Reloaded. But if you think about it, thats the fault of the directors and really reflects badly on both the sequels.

I'll echo those who weren't happy with Revolutions. I was expecting a big finish and ended up with a door so wide open Andre the Giant could walk through it. I'll probably pass on this version of the DVD as well since like Reloaded this doesn't satisfy the extras whore in me.

Why should he be kidding? The guy watched the film and thought is was awesome and not you or the critics can change that. I'm not trying to attack you, but it just bothers me when people can't just respect others opinion.

I think many people complained about the dialogue in Reloaded, then they complained about the lack of dialogue in Revolutions....I also think people were expecting to see the entire story wrapped up on screen in the final installment. I liked the fact that it left a lot of things open for conversation...

I really enjoyed Revolutions and loved how many of the minor characters in Reloaded got more screen time in Revolutions, to add some significance to their characters. The overwhelming shootout at Zion makes the DVD worth picking up.
