Free stuff you received from buying DVDs

I'm not talking about ones that came with the DVDs (e.g. the Stiffler t-shirt that came with the American Wedding DVD Gift Set), but rather, the ones that you have to mail-in for, or the ones the stores gave away with the purchases.

I bought Alien -- The Director's Cut today and received an Alien 3 baseball cap.

I received a Spider-Man night light when I bought the Spider-Man Limited Edition DVD Collector's Gift Set last November.

I've only gotten the Lion King mousepad calendar. Getting hats with DVDs like some of you have mentioned would be awesome!

I got this kick ass Oliver Stone poster when I purchased his box set. I had to mail away for that. It's on my wall next to my autographed Entrapment poster.

When DVD was new a couple of studios use to offer "buy three get one free" mail in specials.
I can't even tell you how many movies I got using that special.

I've ordered a couple of the more recent Disney movies off of Disney.com which gets you free lithographs. I've collected a lot of those over the years between both VHS and DVD copies of their movies.

I got arrested when I "bought" some DVDs from Best Buy.

Okay, that's not true ... they never caught me!

Also not true.

Here's the true part: I don't know what it was I bought, but on that day Best Buy was giving out a disc with the first two season two episodes of "24"

I had never seen the show before but heard all the hype. Around 11:30 one night (with work the next morning) I threw in the disc intending to watch five minutes or so and see what the hubub was all about. Watched both episodes and craved more.

Too bad the price tag on that set was more than I was willing to spend on a show I'd only watch once.

I've gotten plenty of those lithographs over the years. Now, they're all piled up on the top shelf of my son's closet. We used to hang them on his walls, but they just don't really fit his room that's mostly Spiderman now.

Another reason I need to move to Canada. Free bobbleheads sound like an easy way to add to my collection.

Let's see when I bought the unrated version of American Wedding I got this snowglobe, and when I bought Finding Nemo, I got this free demo CD-ROM game. I've thought about trying the Disney buy 3 get 1 free deal but they never have the movies I want or they have movies I already own.
