I've never watched an episode of the show. I'll probably buy this set based off Clone Wars since they were both made by the same people. And another point in its favor, I'm just a huge fan of anything animated.

The low SRP doesn't hurt either

Cool! Now we need Dexter's Laboratory, and perhaps, The Powerpuff Girls .

Looks like it will be a digipak similar to the Cartoon Network - Adult Swim releases of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Space Ghost. I think the cover art looks great, especially with all the grey.

Fantastic news. I bought the premiere movie when it was first released and have been waiting patiently for the season sets to come out. Great show and I can't wait to get this dvd.

Oh, and I really like the cover art, as well.

Sorry to ask a question with perhaps an obvious answer, but do the events in the movie come before the TV show? If it does I guess I'll have to go out and get that too. Thanks for the help guys..

With a MSRP of $29.95 this will be a bargain once it hits!!! This will certainly be purchased.

I wonder if the movie will be included in this set too? Hmmm...

Judging by the runtime it looks like you will have to buy the movie separately. There are 20 episodes in the first season and the total runtime for the set is 299 minutes. That works out to about 15 minutes/episode. The premiere movie is about 70 minutes and is basically the first 3 episodes. So, the 299 minutes spread over 17 episodes would be around 18 minutes/episode. Strangely, they include episode 9 as a bonus episode on the premiere movie dvd (and its runtime is 23 minutes), so I guess that one episode will overlap between releases. At this point this is all speculation, so until they release an official episode list for the dvd you should probably take all of this with a grain of salt.

Thanks, Porkchop, my head isn't quite well enough today to have attempted the math on my own. I am in your debt.

Actually, I already own the movie, with the bonus episode #9 (odd choice, don't you think) but the disc didn't break the bank or anything, so however the set is compiled would be fine by me.

yeah, considering you can pick up the pilot for $5.50 at wal-mart now, I won't complain if it's not incuded with this box set. I'm VERY happy this is finally being released....

No problem, I've got nothing better to do as it is. It is quite bizarre they chose to include episode 9 as the bonus, though I will say it is among my favorite episodes. So from my perspective, it's kinda cool that its on there.

I just bought the movie last week, out of the cheap Wal-Mart bin for $5.50. Good news to hear about the season set.
