Where is a "The Longest Day" - D-Day 60th Anniversary Edition?

It is too bad that Fox is not honoring those who gave their lives on D-Day with a new S.E. of this film.

It would be a good opportunity to finally give us an anamorphic transfer.

Ah, why try and compete with Private Ryan? Let this one get its due away from the direct competition.

The idea is to release a SE on the anniversary year. I've been asking about this for more than a year in another Forum. It probably won't happen since there has been no indication at all that Fox is interested. Too bad. I'm surprised that Universal, who can't seem to find its butt with both hands, is the company to do a 60th anniversary SE edition of a D-Day film.

You can thank DreamWorks for that move.... Universal still can't find its butt.
