Seinfeld coming to DVD - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I don't see anyting around here, so forgive me if I missed something, but ...

... it appears Seinfeld is finally coming to DVD, based on this article.

Good to know us fans will get this on DVD, with extras. Bad to know the supporting cast may have been screwed.

i saw seinfeld live last saturday in raleigh. he took questions from the audience. one of the questions was "where's the dvd jerry?"

jerry responded, "the dvd is coming... we understand the need for the dvd." he also said they wanted to take their time and make a really nice set. which could be the negotiations between the cast taking forever or they really are making a really nice box set. we'll see.

so it definately is coming soon.

I'm a huge Seinfedld fan and can't wait for the DVD, but like Shoegaze99 mentioned the hard feelings between cast members is a bit disappointing. Of course, when $MILLIONS$ are being bandied about those things happen very easily. At least now it appears Alexander and Louis-Dreyfus will participate on the DVD..it would have been a crime to release it without their input. I'll be on this DVD set the minute it arrives.

I'll be very interested to see what kinds of extras they'll be able to get out for this package, but it's looking like a must buy for me.
