DVD of the Month - February 2004

As February closes out, it is time once again to reflect on the good fruits that the DVD Tree have given us for the past month.

yada... yada... yada...

For those of you who don't know the rules, just post a reply to this message with your favorite DVD and runner up DVD released in February 2004. Your first place DVD will receive 2 points, and your runner up will receive 1 point. The DVD with the most points wins DVD of February 2004! Voting will end whenever I feel like it. Sometime around mid-March, which is when I close the voting with my own vote.

IF YOU WANT TO HOST MARCH DVD OF THE MONTH PLEASE PM ME!

The winning DVD also gets it's very own special discussion in the Film Discussion forum.

Noto Note - February was a pretty crap month withonly a few decent releases. It will be interesting to see what you all pick.
04!

The following are what I think might be anywhere remotely interesting DVDs of February. If you have something not on my list, go ahead and put it down. But lets face it, that DVD, like Nader, won't win.

Before I vote (which I'll edit into this post) I'd like to know if Ed Wood SE is eligible? Edit: Thanks for the answer.

#1 My Fair Lady SE
#2 Secondhand Lions

Never checked my profile before for number of posts but now must think of something profound for my next one as I've got 999.

Your right, what a crap month

My votes are based on the movie/show itself rather than the merits of it's DVD.

1. Lost in Translation
2. Chappelle's Show: Season 1 - Uncensored

I agree that this is a rather thin month. My votes come down to the only two new ones that I bought.

Since I haven't had a chance to check out the special features on any of the DVDs I bought this month, I am submitting my vote based on the film alone.

1) Lost In Translation
2) Matchstick Men
