The cover art been up there since they cancelled it last year. However, I've heard that they've resolved the rights issues that held it up the first time and the movie will be released ... sometime.

Let's hope so. I have the P&S tape when that was released. I was holding out for a WS LaserDisc however the LaserDisc market dropped out because of DVD and the LD was never released.
This is one of my favorite war movies even though the preppie looking U Boot crew is laughable especially when compared to the gritty realism of Das Boot. I also love the scene where the guy flipping the switches supposedly closing the vents flips one halfway (and the light still changes) then goes back to flip it completely. Either nobody caught the flub or they didn't have time to reshoot the scene. |
