FYE is a large and reputable company. They may have bad customer service, not sure, but they are definitely out to rip you off, if that's what you're asking.

Heh, typo. NOT out to rip you off. You can find FYE in a lot of malls, etc. They might not have the best prices, but they are an established business with birck and mortar stores. You can obviously have problems with any store, online or not. But they're not just some mom and pop operation, if that makes you feel any better.

I bought from Showwow.com once. It was for Rescuers, Love Bug SE & Aristocats (rerelease) when Disney had released them but not supplied them to ANYBODY. I got them in a very timely manner & my only complaint was that they are a US company that ships out of NY but sent the dvds with the Canadian bilingual covers. It isn't that big of a deal but I called the Disney 800 number & they sent me the US wraps for the dvds. The price was extremely good though and based on the one purchasing experience I'd recommend them.

I bought Sex and the City Seasons 1-4 and Babylon 5 Season 3 from showwow.com. They had very reasonable prices ($US 60 for the B5 set)and they shipped quickly.

I just made my order with showwow.com

I entered the correct billing and shipping address, and I entered my credict card number. I then made the order.

After making the order, the following message appeared:

Sorry, your credit card authorization failed.
Error Message: billing address verification failed.
Please make sure that street number (or P.O. Box number) and Zip Code in your billing address exactly match those on your credit card statement from your bank. If you moved recently, you could try your billing address with your old address. Thank you.

HOWEVER, my credit card got billed!!!! AND, there's no order that appears in my account. I e-mailed them but there's no phone number. I'm already upset.

We have a FYE here in the mall. They are a pretty good store. Some of their prices are kind of high, especially compared to bestbuy.com or amazon.com
