Any of the following titles coming out as R1 SEs?

Had heard some talk about these in R2 Special Editions, but didn't know if there was any info on American issued versions, so I could decide whether to sell my bare bones versions now, or hold off.

1. Untouchables
2. High Plains Drifter
3. Blazing Saddles
4. Deer Hunter
5. Predator
6. Searchers

umm, the untouchables, yes, should be out this year sometime.
Blazing saddles, yup, a 2 disc SE from WB, should hear more on this one very soon. Predator, finally, yes, should be out this summer, in time for the alien vs. predator film. Deer hunter, well, theres a pretty good 2 disc SE out only in the UK, an audio comm and some new interviews, but its an R2 only, dont hold your breath for an R1 SE anytime soon. High Plains Drifter, i have no idea.

The documentary on Predator is outstanding, my friend has the Japanese R2. I'm sure it'll just be a port.

What about The Fifth Element, if I'm not mistaken there's a pretty nice 2 disc set in the UK while we're still stuck here with a copy that's pretty much bare bones. Does anyone know if there's any chance of a Special Edition of this anytime soon?

And yes, these will all feature anamorphic widescreen transfers.

Always helps to use the Search function and keep tabs via DVD news sites.
