whats is wrong with the sound on some of the Leon discs and how do i tell if mine is screwed up? I have a very good ear, but i cant really hear anything wrong with the mix on my disc. Also, is there a UPC # or catalog # that i should be looking for on defective discs?

If you cannot tell there's something wrong with it - then don't worry! If it sounds good to you - stick with it. There were some mastering problems where the surround channels were poorly recorded and the LFE channel incorrectly mixed so that a distinct lack of LFE was apparent. The most obvious example being the very beginning of the film when Leon starts his killing spree - there should be deep bass notes to below 25Hz throughout the scene - these bass notes in the new transfer are more a of a dull thud.
