Sopranos DVD Box Set?
I got an Amazon.com special offer discount flyer in the mail the other day, and under Box Sets they listed Sopranos. I scoured the Amazon.com site (and numerous others), and there's no trace of information about a Sopranos box set.
Assuming it included all of Season One (and maybe a couple of interesting extras, like the scripts and deleted scenes), I'd nab it in a heartbeat. Anyone hear anything about this? ------------------ Best, Dave Kramer http://fromscript2screen.com |

The latest from thedigitalbits.com is that HBO is going to offer Season 1 ....in anamorphic widescreen !?!?!?!?!?! for $100 !!!! The first season of Sex and the City in pan and scam sold for something like $40 bucks. It was a bare bones edition, but geez, that's a heck of a price differential !
Now...about the anamorphic widescreen deal. What the heck are they doing ? Are they just going to matte the pan and scan shots ? Or are they getting different source material ??? Dave Bean |

Dave- I think the price difference may have to do with that Sopranos episodes are 60minutes, while Sex in the City are 30. I'm more than willing to pay that for that series..woohoo!
![]() As far as anamorphic, I'm willing to bet they filmed it in widescreen, as many tv broadcast shows are doing now. Clortho ------------------ I am the Keymaster clortho@hotmail.com |
