Hello,

I live in Canada and recently purchased a copy of This is Spinal Tap at my local futureshop store. When I watched the movie I realized that the captions were not there, so I went back to futureshop and returned my copy of the film for another and again had the same problem. Does anyone in Canada know were I could get a corrected copy of This is spinal tap. Or at least if any of the futureshop stores have corrected versions.

I also wanted to know if, anyone knew if there is a different barcode number for the corrected discs vs. the original disc, I need to get a corrected copy!!!

Can any one answer me this. If in the subtitle menu there is no mention of captions (turn them on or off), does that mean I have a faulty disc? how do I turn them on?

I can choose English subtitles (closed captions) but then nothing is shown. In the menus there isn't an alternative for English but via the remote I can select 3 - English.

According to this site there should be subtitles but they are in another "stream". I can't make them show up, that's for sure. Something _is_ wrong.

But this is not the first movie with a CC mark on it that hasn't got English subtitles.

I live in Sweden but have a region free Pioneer 717 player.
