Jurassic Park! I wonder wich version to buy?
Surfed into my favorite online shop today to check on Jurassic did i find alot *lol*
But really couldnt like the special edition discs been on one dvd18 span/scan one side and wide on the other! like a (Special Edition/ DTS/ Dolby Digital/ Widescreen/ Pan & Scan) disc that would have been cooler. But guess there wasnt enough space or something! ![]() $26.98 Jurassic Park (Special Edition/ DTS) (DVD) $26.98 Jurassic Park (Special Edition/ Pan & Scan/ Dolby Digital) (DVD) $26.98 Jurassic Park (Special Edition/ Widescreen/ Dolby Digital) (DVD) $119.98Jurassic Park Collection (Limited Special Edition) (DVD) $53.98 Jurassic Park Collection (Special Edition/ Pan & Scan) (DVD) $53.98 Jurassic Park Collection (Special Edition/ Widescreen) (DVD) $26.98 Lost World: Jurassic Park (Special Edition/ DTS) (DVD) $26.98 Lost World: Jurassic Park (Special Edition/ Pan & Scan/ Dolby Digital) (DVD) $26.98 Lost World: Jurassic Park (Special Edition/ Widescreen/ Dolby Digital) (DVD) I for one just going to buy the Jurassic Park Collection (Special Edition/ Widescreen) cause i think 1000+sek ($119.98) is to damn much for 2 discs. I for one have the $119 Special Edition on preorder. But then I'm a sucker for box sets (I feared they would vanish after LD's were replaced by DVD, but fortunately I was wrong).
Yes it's hell of a lot of money to chunk down, but it will contain both movies, two CD's and some other cool stuff, so I decided to go for it. This will be the third copy of JP (bought the LD as soon as it came out (ProLogic) and replaced it later with the AC-3 LD). I'm really looking forward to it. ------------------ Unca Dom dvdfile.com Administrator pfleghaar@dvdfile.com My HT My dvd collection |

I'm getting the DTS version, per usual (when available). After all, JP was the first film to use DTS sound, right? I still bought MIB in DTS even though DVDreview stated that the picture wasn't as good as the DD version. I think the transfer was excellent overall. DTS Fan

I'm with you IG88. DTS all the way. I must admit, though, the Box set looks PRETTY sweet. Hmmmmm. . .maybe I'll get them all just to be a completist.
