Favorite Brittany Murphy movie - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

Because I'm bored, because she's awesome, because someone will likely post pics to make my day more tolerable, and because it will piss off Marq....

What is your favorite Brittany Murphy movie? I know it's kind of like choosing your favorite child, so name as many as necessary.

Personally, ACTING-wise, I think she did her strongest work in CLUELESS, 8 MILE, DON'T SAY A WORD, and GIRL, INTERRUPTED. She's even quite good in RIDING IN CARS WITH BOYS. But now she's moving out of those character parts and more into pure star vehicles that capitalize on her infectious personality, a la Goldie Hawn or Lucille Ball, rather than her acting skill. Which is still fine, as she's engaging enough as a presence to buoy even middling fare like JUST MARRIED.

Anyways, if I had to choose, I'd just default to whichever movie I happened to like most in spite of Brittany. And that would probably be:
8 Mile - a good movie, and she wasn't as off her rocker as usual

Runner up would be, just to piss off Lex, Spun, because I did like that movie's insanity and because every other character was behaving like Brittany Murphy usually does, so that made her pressence more tolerable.
I did like Clueless too though.
And I will need to see Riding in Cars With Boys at some point, because Barrymore's Flower Films movies are a guity pleassure of mine.

I saw Girl, Interrupted and Riding in Cars With Boys, but I don't remember her in them.

Of the movies she's been in, I like Clueless best. Though not because of her. She wasn't bad in it. Just not why it appeals.

I think she did her best in 8 Mile. She was tolerable in Riding In Cars With Boys even though I hate that film passionately.

I enjoy Clueless, but it has been years since I have seen it and I don't remember her in it.

She was tolerable as The Fat Friend in Clueless. Other than that, her whiny, scratchy voice and alarming lack of acting talent makes any film she appears in the equivilent of a steaming pile of cow feces.
