Why was High Noon: CE never reviewed @ the 'file
I just purchased the *** today, and found that despite the packaging saying the film was remastered...the transfer seems a bit shabby. Of course, I haven't gotten very far into the film yet but I decided to check the 'File and see what they had to say about the ***. When I hit search, all I got was a review for a TV-movie version that was later released on ***. Why no review of this ***?
Also, if anyone can help me out....was I expecting too much with the jobs from Warner and Paramount recently with restorations or was I flat out lied to that this *** was 'remastered'. Then again, remastered doesn't mean restored. So, anyways.....can anyone help me out? |

- http://www.dvdfile.com/software/revi...ghnoon_ce.html ? Typically, my answer would be "because DVDFile reviews far fewer **** than several other sites and employs far fewer reviewers who review fewer titles", but in this case it looks like they did happen to review it. The first link is a list of all the reviews for High Noon, including the CE. edit: replace the *** in the links with D V D (no spaces). Last edited by Marq : 04-01-2004 at 11:06 PM. |

Pardon my ignorance. It puzzles me that whenever I search, only the TV-movie comes up. But thanks for the links....much appreciated!
And yes, I understand there are alot of films that fall through the cracks when it comes to reviews. I just would have thought that a film of this caliber would get a review, and my assumptions were obviously correct. |
