I just bought Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 disc edition at my local best buy here in canada. Later on while surfin the net i discovered an ad on the best buy site stating "FREE WITH PURCHASE OF 2-DISC PLANTINUM TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, GET THE ORGINAL ***!" I was shocked and read the fine lines and it said must be done in intervals of two and can not be applied to prior purchases.

QUESTION: Does this only apply to the U.S.?
If not can i bring in my bill and get my free *** or am i shit out of luck for not knowing about the offer when i bought it?

I don't know if it is a US-only promotion or not, but if it isn't, take your receipt in. They will know from the printout that you didn't receive your free disc. Talk to a manager just in case.

What do you mean intervals of two? Are you trying to say your have to buy them both at the same time?

Thats what it syas in the rules and regualtions. I think it means u HAVE to get them both at the same time.

I work for Best Buy and that unfortunately is a U.S. only promotion. When you said you visited the site, I am guessing by that you meant Bestbuy.com? Well that is the U.S. site. The Canadian site doesn't sell anything. Basically it is a glorified store locator (they let futureshop.ca handle the online sales). The only thing I recommend is if you have a friend in the U.S. who could take advantage of it for you and when you receive the sealed U.S. version, return it to the Best Buy were you bought it.
