I have not. Please explain these 3-snaps cases and how sexy they are.

Yeah, I'm interested too. Nexpak released their Amaray and AlphaPak II cases a few months ago which have revised hub snaps.

A picture would be worth a thousand words.

Are you refering to the two extra security snaps on the side of the case? If so, I hate those! They're a real pain in the ass. Just give me plain ole amaray cases.

If it's the ones SeanL is describing, they've been around for a while now. I only have one DVD with them (21 Grams), but I can't say they're as sexy as nas describes them.

I also hate them.

I do believe The Italian Job remake was also in that kind of case.

I despise those cases and hope whoever designed them dies a slow horrible death in the pits of hell.

I only have two of them...The Italian Job and....uhm....maybe Spun(?).

It's not any more difficult than getting a DVD out of a digipak, sober or not.

They're not so difficult, as just annoying and unnecessary.

On the plus side, if I had lots of kids and idiots hanging out in my house, they wouldn't be able to figure out how to open them. So it's a good security device against the stupid and innocent.

I also hate the two extra snap version. Lately I have got them when I purchased Bruce Almighty, Lost in Translation, and The Dream Team at Wal-Mart. I'm wondering if the cost savings is worth that pain in the ass case.

My two year old figured them out in about a minute, so I'm not sure how accurate that is. Of course, my kid is much much smarter than every other kid in the world. And cuter too.

The two little snaps just rip right off pretty easily though.

Mine are usually gone by the time I get home from the store...

These are stupid, my Rundown has them. It'd be fine if I had kids, but I don't and they are just stupid, it's not like they are doing anything other than being a waste of materials.

I don't even think kids, much like inebriated adults, would have a problem opening these cases. :p

I have to wonder what the logic behind these snaps are. Maybe they keep cases from popping open during shipment.

Wait ... you don't have any kids, or you do have kids but they are stupid and a waste of materials? I'm confused.

If it's the former, hey, there is still time. If it is the latter, have your kids beat the ass of sukr_4_dbldips's kids. It may not make them smarter, but at least they won't be a waste of materials any longer.

The first time I remember seeing those was on Narc nearly a year ago. I didn't see them at first and I was tugging and tugging on the case and then they suddenly popped off. Ever since then I always take a look before opening.

Me too. I've only opened it once and I can see how those snaps could be annoying.

Peace...

I doubt it, since the case is practically covered in security stickers.

My Orange County DVD has the two stupid things on there. I don't like them because the one broke off and it now it's anoying not to losse it when I open the case. I don't like these at all.

I have managed to avoid getting these crappy-sounding cases so far. But I am sure it is just a matter of time before one infests some title that I will want to buy.
