"3 Women" for 19 buckaroos at dvdboxoffice.com

As your attorney, I suggest you cancel wherever you preordered it and go straight to dvdboxoffice.com (Shipping is free to anywhere in the world)

(List price is $39.95, amazon.com sells it for $27.96)

Edit: The thread title should read "19 buckaroos" not "$19 buckaroos", that's doppeltgemoppelt, sorry. And this thread possibly belongs to the Bargain Area. Sorry again.

Looking at the prices of the rest of the Criterions they stock, this has to be a big-time error. The others are listed at about 15-20% off retail (and then there's Richard III and Salvatore Giuliano, both listed at $48.42, or 20% OVER retail; W.C. Fields: 6 Short Films is also listed at 7% above retail).

I don't see anything in their FAQ that says they don't honor pricing errors, so I say Go For It.

Hmmm...it had $19 on the page listing 3 Women. . . but when I went to check out it changed to $24.95 along the way. although. . . that may very well be canadian dollars. . . it isn't very clear.

$24 Cdn is impossible to beat for me (it'll be between $40-$60 by the time it shows up in stores here). I'm signing up. I've never used them before...

If it's Canadian Dollars, why the American flag next to all the prices?

They have lifted the price to CAD 42.95 (so CAD 24.95 was an obvious misprice). The new price seems to be applied to old orders.

Looks like they confused "2" with "4" and now switched 24 to 42. But I ordered it at 24, switcheroo or not, isn't changing prices after ordering illegal?

Nein, it's in Hamburg. But I'll have some Cocoa Puffs ready. (Cocoa Puffs and my company are better than any 3 women)

Nope, these days every site has a disclaimer in the terms & conditions for the use of the site that states that prices may be incorrect, etc.

misprices

i tried to buy a 12 movie boxset recently from amazon.com,
it was list price $100 or something, yet the amazon price was
$6

i ordered 2 copies, then everyone else seemed to catch it,
and this random boxset shot straight to #1 on their sales list.

unfortunately they sent out an email saying it was a misprice
and couldnt give it to anyone for that cost.....

but at a regular store it is different.

I went to Best Buy once and found a copy of Spartacus Criterion
listed at $22.99, while retail for the movie is $49.95

i went to the counter, it rang up at $46.99,
but i pointed to the price tag,
and so they gave it to me for $22.99
it was a pretty good deal that day.
