Have Warner Ever Released a DTS DVD?

Can anyone think of any titles? I Can't.
Does Warner have a thing against DTS or something?

What about True romance SE, Twister SE, Robin Hood: Prince of thieves SE, Lethal weapon 1-3 DC's and American outlaws plus a number of music DVD's?

True Romance, Robin Hood, American Outlaws and the music titles are all on distribution deals, Warner has little to no control over content

Twister, LW 1-3, and IWTV are the only actual warner discs, and that was back in 2000 as a "test". Of course, the test wasn't a really good one as the only indicators that they HAD DTS was the little logo on the back cover.

yeah, WB seems to not like DTS, which is a shame cause imagine how good the matrix movies would sound in DTS

but also come to think of it, i can't recall of the top of my head a Paramount title with DTS

whats up with that?

The Jack Ryan Special Editions have dts tracks on them, and Saving Private Ryan (a Dreamworks/Paramount film) had a seperate dts version

He was replying to someone else noting that Paramount has never released a DTS title(which they have, with the Jack Ryan movies).

Probably little to no different, at least on the sequels where there was an included 2.0 track to avoid neutering for small TV speakers.

As for Private Ryan, Paramount was the theatrical distributor and has nothing at all to do with the home release

Why would the size of the DTS logo have anything to do with it? Are you buying Twister for the movie or are you buying a DTS soundtrack that happens to be on the Twister disc?

Actually, the five discs Warner released are about as fair a test for DTS as there will ever be. Unlike the half-bitrate shit that is passed off on unsophisticated buyers as "better because it says DTS", at least Warner used the maximum bitrate encoding for both the DTS and Dolby tracks and carefully monitored the master to ensure levels were properly maintained throughout.

As for why Warner hasn't released any more DVDs with DTS soundtracks, the five they did release made their point. As anyone with an open mind that has compared the two 5.1 tracks on these discs will attest, when the mastering conditions are equal, DTS is simply unnecessary. Even at full bitrate, the DTS tracks on these discs do not stand out from the Dolby tracks.
