from tvshowsondvd.com More than a year after the last DVD release, fans can relax finally because All In The Family - The Complete 3rd Season is coming on July 20th.

Look for more groundbreaking 1970s comedy with Carroll O'Connor as Archie Bunker (the ultimate bigot), Jean Stapleton as Edith Bunker (his saintly wife), Sally Struthers as daughter Gloria (always caught in the middle) and Rob Reiner as son-in-law Mike (Meathead with liberal views). The show won Emmy Awards for "Outstanding Comedy Series" and "Outstanding Writing Achievement in Comedy" this season, plus each cast member was nominated for best performance.

Look for a list price of $29.95, which brings it in line with the previous two releases (following a pending price drop on The Complete 1st Season, scheduled for 7/6).

Expect the specs to be the original 1.33:1 screen format with English Mono sound, just like the show was originally broadcast. Running time is 610 minutes on a 3-DVD set. The only extras are "bonus previews" (ads for other Columbia-TriStar product).
