Er...What?! Are you being funny or is this a genuine question? (And no, I'm not being pedantic)
If this is a genuine question then I would suggest that if you have a widescreen TV you do indeed buy DVDs with widescreen on them (which 99.9% do anyway) as only with a widescreen TV (or a 4:3 with widescreen feature) will you be able to enjoy the benefits of an anamorphic transfer. Bit obvious really. If you're trying to be funny then, ha ha ha |

First let me clairfy. Are you asking if you should buy the widescreen vs. the fullscreen, or are you asking if you should buy movies that say "enhanced for Widscreen TV's.
To answer the first one, I say always get the OAR. I personally cannot stand the P&S verson of a film. Sometimes even makes me sick! Not to mention you can loose up to 40% of the image. If you are asking about "Enhanced" dscs, again I day definately. The anamorphic WS DVD's offer 33% better picture quality over nonenhanced discs. Hope this answers your questio. j ------------------ Co-Moderator of the software forum. "Failure is not an option!"
