TS2 extras

Since this is on the TS2 DVD, I think I'll post it here(Admin's correct me if I'm wrong ) Watched the TS2 Disc for the umpteenth time, and each time I watch it, I have to watch the trailer for Monsters Inc. This just blew me away! Really, I felt the air rush by when they were banging on the door! Then the whole thing with...

Just watch it if you have the disc, and if you don't, come on down to Texas, adn I'll demo it for you

Hope the DS neighbors don't get tired of me watching that!

Really? Maybe it's just me, but I thought the Monsters Inc teaser was extremely overrated. It was only vaguely amusing in substance, and I felt like I had seen it (heard it?) somewhere before.

Not to say the computer graphics weren't stunning in and of themselves. But the script and performances seemed cheesy. Billy Crystal and John Goodman seemed to be playing characters they've done one to many times. And the one place, one view approach fell flat.

I understand the concept of a teaser trailer, but this one just didn't work for me. Maybe when we see more of the actual movie world, then my jaw will drop to the floor and you'll have to raise it back up with a winch. But that day hasn't come yet.

Anyway, my $0.02.

One of the things the Blew me away was the LFE in this trailer. When they knocked on the dooe, I accually felt it that is what really floored me about this. The anamation was the same Pixar excelence. look at the fir on Sully. looks like each individual hair is animated. Simply incredible. even the friends I have shown this to agree. We will be in line when this comes out.

BTW, This is a software topic, right?

I agree, I must have watched that trailer maybe a dozen times. Not only does it look and sound amazing but it makes me laugh every time. Can't wait.
