"Leon" repressing and Amazon.com
I am the owner of one of the defective rear surround copies of "Leon," which I ordered from amazon.com when it was released in July. I still have my receipt, but the problem is that Amazon has made no announcement of replacing anything and I would like to contact them by phone, to sort this out (I find they don't respond to email very well), but I cannot find there phone number anywhere on their site. I have talked to them before, so I know it does exist, but they seemed to have removed it entirely from the help desk area as well as anywhere else. Also, has anyone managed to have their copy replaced, from wherever they bought or orderded it from? If anyone can help I would be most grateful.

I'm in the same boat. I tried calling the 1-800 directory and they said there was no listing. Very frustrating. If Amazon isn't going to provide customer service then I'm going to have think twice about ordering from them.

Well, I don't have the number, but while you are searching and waiting, you might try emailing them. Even though they suck, so you say, it's better to try than not at all.

Well...I take back any harsh comment I had. I did email them and they responded within a few hours. Pretty quick really. They are sending another one. I'll let you know if it's actually the correct one or not.

Cool. That's good to hear. Good for you, and it's always good to know when a company doesn't suck.
