High Fidelity problem - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I had recently bought High Fidelity and am having trouble getting it to play in my Panasonic A310 player. I do not have any problems with any of my other discs (over 70).. and the player does read it eventually after repeated tries.. after i got it to work, during the movie a weird subtitle just appeared on the screen and didn't leave until i went to the menu screen and then back into the movie.. and suggestions? is this a deffective disc?

Hey, at least you don't get a wholesome family-friendly clip of Toy Story 2 during a sex scene.
