Has anyone noticed that the $ for best buy DVDs are ~$15?

I guess it's either that the format is just getting more popular, or that they arte dropping prices in prep for Christmas, and to bolster DVDplayer sales, But the avarage price for a new release at Best Buy is around 15 dollars.
THIS IS GREAT!
What could be better than dirt cheap new releases, other than free ones!
I have been buying at least 2 a week, and the end of this month is going to break me...

Yeah, I also noticed the Best Buy tends to have really GREAT prices on new releases. owever, the prices jump right back up after the releases aren't new anymore.

So, unless buyers jump on the new releases when they're new they'll get stung......

Peace......

That toy Story 2 double set was $19.99 the first week.....
I think everyone would save alot of money if they just picked up thier favorite discs the First week..
let's say the avarage cost of a DVD is $22,
now with that avarage first week being $15, that saves you $7, and if you are a nut like me and buy at least 4 DVDs a month, thats $28 dollars saved, and you can use that to buy 2 more new releases! AND! Save the reciepts and use the Studio Buy 4 get one free, and youll clean up!

Yup, I've noticed the same thing. I picked up the Ultimate Toy Box for $39.99 and grabbed Mission Impossible: 2 today for $14.99. You can also order from their website at www.bestbuy.com and have them shipped to your home (right now, for free!) or held for pickup at the Best Buy store near you.

This week I picked up MI2 and The Patriot at Best Buy, $14.99 and $15.99 each, respectively. I wasn't even planning on buying The Patriot, but for that price I just couldn't pass it up. Their prices are getting to be better than online prices, at least for new releases. And I don't even have to pay shipping.
