Legend-Put back till January..

My dvd importer-Laserdisc International has just informed me today that Legend has been put back till January 2001.
He is very reliable with his info on disc release dates.

While I hate waiting for this film, a couple of months isn't too bad. I'd rather they take their time and do it right, than put out a disc that glitches or doesn't have all the material on it it might have had. Look at the X-Men release- I still haven't decided whether or not to get it, since we KNOW it'll be redone sometime in the not too distant future with ALL the features we want. And Legend will probably never be rereleased on DVD, so a bit of waiting is bearable, IMO.

Could have been a Hell of a lot worse, look at what happened to MIB and that turned out to be worth the wait.

Constrictor,
MIB was originally slated to hit DVD within a year of the introduction of the format, back around '98. I believe it was to be a bare-bones release. It was postponed indefinately a couple of months before it was to hit store shelves. I'm glad they waited, since the versions that are out now are of excellent quality, both in regards to A/V mastering and content.

If waiting a couple of months means the same will hold true for Legend, then I don't mind the delay. And what I meant by "could have been worse" was that a couple of months is a whole lot better than a couple of years.
