I think that's a pretty cool trend starting with so many subtitle choices. It seems more and more DVDs have more subtitle choices. I just wonder why they waste space on crappy french audio tracks.

If any Canadians are wondering, our version is the same as that except we have Alliances ugly logos on the front with the french translation. The fold out insert is double sided so one side is english and the other french.

I don't think there is a solid date for that, It needs to be re cut and then put back in theaters. I don't mind owning these now, I love the movies so much I don't want to deprive myself of watching them.

I finished watching the documentary on the disc. It has a running time of twenty six minutes. I like the documentary on Volume 1 better, it was more informative. This doc does feature some good interviews (although short) with the film's stars.

Im picking this up the day it comes out, as I did with volume 1. Even though I know a huge combined driectors cut is comming (Titled, "KILL BILL: The Whole Bloody Affair" incase you were wondering) It's nice to have the films in their original theatrical versions and then If i decide I want lots of extras and an uncut house of blue leaves for volume 1, ill double dip. My point is, these discs are just fine and dandy so don't complain, besides we may not seen the directors cut and special editon discs for a lonnnnnnnngggggggggg time.....

It's easy. They're extremely anal up in Quebec about keeping everything in French. They're lazy and watch dubs virtually exclusively (OSL listeners I applaud you). They're so anal about it I hear they even have a "Quebec Watch a Film in French Day" where you're supposed to encourage your stick in the mud neighbors to experience their favorite movies in the superior French. Whether that's true or not I don't know, but I've heard enough anecdotal evidence from current and former Quebecers to believe it.

Dubs should be illegal, period. There's gotta be a way to encode subtitles on those cool electronic braille readers like they have in Sneakers If you want to practice your french, rent a Truffaut movie

That's all well and good, but what about the 298 million Americans that aren't trying to brush up on their French?

Hell, the rest of Canada has them cornered, so just beat the fuck out of them already. They're ruining it for the rest of the continent.
