Why am I happy?

You don't have to buy all of these in a set.

The Bellboy and Cinderfella are the only two that I have to own.

Might get The Nutty Professor for all the extras.

Patsy and Disorderly Orderly are considerable.

The others can be viewed on t.v.

Could they have made the cover art any dumber?? :p

What was the one where he was kinda in charge of a girls dorm. It was almost filmed like a play. The name could have been mentioned already, but I'd like to match it up. I recall his oven mitten catching fire in it. Hilarious.

Jerry Lewis movies used to come on TV all the time when my brother and I were kids. We always watched them and laughed so hard. Our favorite was The Delicate Delinquent.

I might have to rent some of those when they come out to see if I still like them. It's been years since I've seen them.

Probably nobody cares, but the commentary for The Bellboy DVD isn't half bad.

The fact that Steve Lawrence is sitting with Jerry throughout the movie is fairly interesting.

Good insight into casting, direction, and the bits. It was very enjoyable to watch.

To me, this is Jerry's best work.

Not a huge fan when he gets mawkish (sp?) but The Nutty Professor is simply a classic and I folded and went for CinderFella too.

I purchased all 10 of the Paramount releases, watched Cinderfella first, I remember watching that as a kid, and was really happy to have it on DVD.

I'm wondering why we're still missing The Geisha Boy, and if it has anything to do with the fact that it was a VistaVision picture. That one's probably my favorite Lewis comedy, partly due to the rabbit, partly due to the culture clash hijinks.

Fun Fact: the mother of one of my junior high/high school buddies was one of the women Jerry interrupts in the public bath scene.
